Jazz In the Gardens Stage
Celebrating Women's History Month
March ushers in National Women's History Month; it's an annual declared month that celebrates the contributions women have made to the United States and recognizes the specific accomplishments women have made throughout American history in many fields. Join the Miami-Dade County Commission for Women at one of their many events across Miami-Dade County. In honor of Women’s History Month, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau has compiled a list of events, businesses owned by women, and various suggestions to commemorate and celebrate women throughout this month.

Calle Ocho Music Festival
Experience the vibrant pulse of Carnaval Miami at the 49th Calle Ocho Music Festival on March 9! This event celebrates the rich Latin and Caribbean cultures that define Greater Miami and Miami Beach. Spanning 15 lively city blocks in the heart of Little Havana, Calle Ocho is not just Miami's largest street festival but also the largest Hispanic festival in the entire United States, attracting over a million attendees annually. Jazz in the Gardens
Get ready to groove! Jazz in the Gardens (JITG), a beloved tradition now in its 18th year, is back at Hard Rock Stadium on March 8-9, presented by the City of Miami Gardens. As one of the world's premier jazz and R&B events, JITG promises an unforgettable weekend. This year's lineup is stacked with global icons and local Miami talent, including the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill headlining alongside former Fugee Wyclef Jean and YG Marley for a special "Diaspora Calling!" set. BHI Hosted Miami International Airport Tour

BHI hosted an educational tour of Miami International Airport for thirty students from Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School. This immersive experience provided valuable insights into career opportunities in aviation, hospitality, and tourism. By connecting students with industry professionals, they gained a broader understanding of aviation management, air traffic control, airline operations, and career pathways within the hospitality and tourism sectors.
