Get ready for the ultimate entrepreneurial showdown at Pitch Fest 2025 where top innovators will battle for a $30,000 cash prize to scale their businesses! Hosted by the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT), this high-stakes competition will showcase Miami-Dade’s most promising startups as they pitch groundbreaking ideas to a panel of expert judges and a live audience. Judges include Eric Knowles (Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce), Connie Kinnard (SVP, Multicultural Tourism & Development Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau), and Hilmon Sorey (The Source). BHI hosted an educational tour of Miami International Airport for thirty students from Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School. This immersive experience provided valuable insights into career opportunities in aviation, hospitality, and tourism. By connecting students with industry professionals, they gained a broader understanding of aviation management, air traffic control, airline operations, and career pathways within the hospitality and tourism sectors. These experiences aim to inspire interest not only in hospitality and tourism but also in the broader global travel industry. The 6th Annual Disruptive Leadership Conference, hosted by Grenada-based Go Blue Consulting, takes place March 14–15 at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel.
