Message From the President & CEO

Hello everyone:

Hoping this new year is beginning with continued momentum, success and optimism. As we focus forward, we have one last opportunity to look back as we just received the year-end and complete 12-month summary of annual hotel occupancy, average daily rate (ADR) and revenue generated per available hotel room (RevPar).

Following are the corresponding charts and how we as a destination compared nationally to the largest 25 markets.

We achieved the sixth-highest hotel occupancy average in the country.  Even with more inventory to sell, our 2.5 percent increase resulted in an annual occupancy average of 73.8% in 2024. One can notionally fill more rooms with lower rates so ADR is an equally, if not more important barometer. Pleased to share that our destination and hotel partners achieved the fourth-highest average daily rate and was fourth ranked in the nation in revenue generated per available room – a key barometer…
