Hispanic Heritage Art

Hello everyone:

Earlier this week, National Hispanic Heritage Month kicked off (Sept. 15th – Oct. 15th is the official time period). We in Miami-Dade County of course not only know the significance of the 30 days, but the impact our heritage, our people and our gateway status have year-round.

There are dozens and dozens of programs, special events, celebrations and installations that fill this time frame. We have created a special section of our website featuring more than 60 special events and activities. I encourage you not only to take the time to review this list and take in a few of the opportunities, but in doing so, take in why this part of our paradise and our mosaic is muy especial
