The 26th Annual Melton Mustafa is a four-day music festival, featuring the best jazz musicians in the world. Soul Vegan Festival

Miami's Richmond Heights: The Black Shangri-La - a Two Part DocuSeries
 
Hip Rock Star Advertising is excited to announce the exclusive premiere of the 2-part docuseries Miami's Richmond Heights: The Black Shangri-La.  Based on the book, Images of America: Miami’s Richmond Heights, the docuseries explores the lives of early Black World War II veterans in detail.  The premiere is February 15, and will debut on streaming platforms including Crackle, Plex, and LG.

Celebrate Black History Month
 
Join the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau as we celebrate Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements by Black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.  African-American communities and culture are core to the identity of Greater Miami & Miami Beach, and Black History Month is an excellent time to explore historical sites and immerse yourself in vibrant contemporary music, food, dance and art. The GMCVB has a dedicated section highlighting some of the best events celebrating MiamiBlackHistoryMonth.com. Along with various community-based organizations, the Miami-Dade Black Affairs Advisory Board recognizes several events paying homage to the African American Diaspora for Black History Month, while observing this year’s theme “Black Resistance,” as established by the National Association for the Study of African American Life and History.

Miami Bayside Foundation Launches New Year Free Training Supporting Small Businesses 
 
Miami Bayside Foundation's Small Business Workshop will begin on February 7 and run through March 9.  The 15-day online workshop is geared towards helping business owners sharpen their entrepreneurial skills while learning how to prepare to access capital. Art of Black Miami Artist Unveils Exhibition at Hilton Miami Airport during Black History Month
 
In celebration of Black History Month, the GMCVB, through the Art of Black Miami platform, in partnership with the Hilton Miami Airport, will showcase an exhibition featuring the works of Haitian-born artist Annick Duvivier. The exhibition, titled Closer to Nature, will be on view in the hotel lobby throughout February. The initiative, which began last year, creates an opportunity to further connect Miami’s local arts and culture community to tourism.

Gloria Estefan Becoming the First Hispanic Woman in the Songwriters Hall of Fame
 
Miami's own Gloria Estefan is making history by becoming the first Hispanic woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. South Beach Wine and Food Festival - Overtown Eatup!

Building on the success of Harlem EatUp!  SOBEWFF® is proud to program this first-of-its-kind event that highlighting the equally diverse community of Overtown.  Hosted by Marcus Samuelsson and Amaris Jones, this rousing walk-around tasting will spotlight the local cuisine and culture that remains at the heart of the city’s Black history.  Event will take place on February 26 at Red Rooster Overtown.
