Message From The President & CEO

I was pleased to spend time with so many of you yesterday during our Annual Meeting at the JW Marriott Turnberry and I thank you for the heartfelt welcome. As we celebrated Bill Talbert’s more than 50 years of service to our industry and our community, I was reminded of the very big shoes we have to fill and look forward to the opportunity.

We named six new members to our Board – Rodney Barreto, Barreto Hospitality; Rick Beasley of Career Source; Kevin Bryant, Fontainebleau; our new MIA Director Ralph Cutié; Mutluhan Kucuk, Loews Hotels; Adolfo Perez, Carnival Cruise Line; and Grisette Roque-Marcos with the Miami Beach VCA. They join a diverse and representative GMCVB Board of Directors, and we challenge them to challenge us to even greater things.
