Hotel Hurricane Preparedness Meeting 2021 |
|
Join the GMCVB In-Person or Virtually for the 2021 Hotel Hurricane Preparedness Meeting, in partnership with the Greater Miami & the Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA) and the City of Miami Beach, held in-person on May 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Hear from local experts including NBC 6 meteorologist Ryan Philips, Miami-Dade County and City of Miami Beach Emergency Management representatives, along with special welcome messages from Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber, Miami Beach City Manager Alina T. Hudak, GMCVB President & CEO William D. Talbert, lll, CDME, GMBHA President & CEO, Wendy Kallergis, and more.
Parking: Complimentary self-parking will be available at the Miami Beach Convention Center garage. Entrance by the N.W. helix (located on the corner of Dade Boulevard and Convention Center Drive). Once on the 4th floor parking deck, park on the S.W. corner.

U.S. EPA Awards Funding for Carnival Cruise Line's Shore Power Pilot at PortMiami |

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) has announced a $2 million allocation for PortMiami’s Shore Power Pilot Program. Carnival Cruise Line will commit to utilizing shore power for up to four vessels at new Cruise Terminal F, starting in 2023. |
