Miami Spice Restaurant Months and Miami Hotel Months Continue
 
Tease your senses and enjoy the best hotel accommodations and dining that Miami has to offer! Miami Spice Restaurant Months runs through September 30. Participating restaurants are offering $28 brunch, lunch and $43 dinner menus. And why not plan a staycation? You deserve one! Miami Hotel Months also continues with participating hotels offering special discounts such as discounted stays, resort credits, complimentary meals and more, through end of September. Looking Ahead! Celebrate Orgullo!

Celebrate Orgullo, the first Hispanic and Indigenous LGBTQ+ festival in Greater Miami & Miami Beach, is back for its 12th edition on October 1-8. There’s no better way to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and the destination’s diversity and history as an LGBTQ+ paradise. In 2021, Celebrate Orgullo (Spanish for “pride”) was named #4 among the top 14 most unique LGBTQ+ events around the world by TripSavvy.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month - Sept. 15 to Oct. 15
 
What does Miami have in common with Hispanic Heritage Month? Miami has the largest melting pot of Hispanics in the country, totally influencing its culture and its Latin vibe throughout almost all of Miami’s intricate neighborhoods and streets! Experience the lively and vivacious cultures of more than 20 Hispanic and Latin countries from Spain, the Caribbean, Central and South America. There’s something for everyone! The 38th Annual Miami Carnival on Columbus Day Weekend
 
The Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee (MBOCHC) and the South Florida Carnival Bandleaders Association have announced that they will host the 38th annual Miami Carnival cultural festival on Columbus Day weekend, Sunday, October 9. Miccosukee Celebrates American Indian Day

Celebrate American Indian Day with the whole family at the Miccosukee Tribe's annual festival on Saturday, September 24 at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming. American Indian Day honors the culture and traditions of indigenous First Nations as well as their contributions to the world. At this fun-for-the-whole family festival, you'll get a chance to immerse yourself in the Miccosukee Tribe’s culture with indigenous craft, food vendors, alligator wrestling shows, airboat rides, and more. IN MEMORY

Jason JenkinsOur community has suffered a great loss with the passing of Jason Jenkins, Dolphins SVP of Communications and Community Affairs. He was a trailblazer, a beacon in the community, and a champion for others.  Our condolences and support go out to his family.  The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau was honored to have partnered with him on the Football Unites community and cultural tours.

Viva Miami Hispanic Heritage Business Expo
 
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invites you to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and connect with other business professionals at their 18th annual Business Expo lunch conference on Friday, September 23. For its 2022 edition, this highly-anticipated event will take place at the Biltmore Hotel featuring a showcase of product and service exhibits as well as workshops. There will also be a lunch and panel discussion on a  business topic of interest chosen by the chamber’s Business Committee. This year's keynote guest speaker is Senator Marco Rubio. Koubek Center presents Women of the Caribbean Concert with singer, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist Kaylan Arnold, performer Bri La Pelúa who stands out with her voice, energy, and peculiar way of playing the Cajón and Leau, a young and versatile singer who delves in a broad range of styles, including R&B, soul, Haitian Konpa, and Jazz.  These female artists will bring their diverse music, roots, and personal stories to the stage for the Women of the Caribbean concert at the Koubek Center on Saturday September 17 at 8 p.m.
