The GMCVB Honored by South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
 
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has been selected as the 2020 South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce "Non-Profit Organization of the Year." The GMCVB will be recognized at the 26 Annual SFLHCC Sunshine Awards on November 13 at the Biltmore Hotel.

2020 GMCVB Hybrid Annual Meeting
 
The GMCVB held their 2020 Annual Meeting at the Miami Beach Convention Center on October 21, 2020. More than 150 people attended the in-person event at the Miami Beach Convention Center while close to 500 joined virtually. Miami Arts, Culture & Heritage Months begins December 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021.
 
Celebrating the destination’s rich neighborhoods, Miami Arts, Culture & Heritage Months places a spotlight on the culturally diverse communities. Greater Miami and the Beaches is providing locals and visitors with pleasing ways to experience and immerse themselves in the destination’s cultural gems, including special offers from museums, theaters, art exhibits, art galleries and more.

Celebrating Native American Heritage Month
 
This commemorative month aims to provide a platform for Native people in the US to share their culture, traditions, music, crafts, dance, and ways/concepts of life. This gives Native people the opportunity to express to their community, both city, county and state officials their concerns and solutions for building bridges of understanding and friendship in their local area. SFRPC Small Business Loans Available Through Cares Act

The South Florida Regional Planning Council (SFRPC) has secured funds from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) to capitalize a small business revolving loan fund for business adversely impacted by COVID-19. These funds, provided pursuant to the CARES Act, will be administered by the SFRPC through its Revolving Loan Fund CARES Act Program.

MIA Magazine and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau invites you to enter the Art of Black Miami Cover Competition. The competition is open to all visual artists working and living in Greater Miami. A cash prize will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners in the amount of $5000 and $1500.
