| MIA Reaches Nearly 46 Million Passengers in 2019 |

| Miami International Airport served 45.9 million passengers in 2019, for an increase of nearly one million passengers over its total in 2018, according to the airport’s final 2019 traffic statistics. Contributing to MIA’s growth was the addition of five new international passenger routes. |

| Juggerknot Theatre Company, the creators of Miami Motel Stories are back! The team takes up residence for the month of February at the Broadmoor Hotel on Ocean Terrace to tell the history of North Beach through the eyes of its residents. | Registration Taking Place Now for The Wings for Life World Run |
| |
| The Wings for Life World Run will celebrate its seventh year in Florida on Sunday, May 3 and, while the incredible cause (spinal cord injury research) and many of the faces will remain the same, the worldwide race will now be held at the new location in Miami Gardens. Fun runners, walkers, wheelchair rollers and competitive runners can now register to be a part of the race at the new venue for just $50. The Wings for Life World Run finish line is mobile – and begins BEHIND the participants. The iconic Catcher Car starts its engine 30 minutes after the global run begins, chasing down the runners one by one until the very last remains. For more information and to register, click here. |

| GMCVB Multicultural Tourism Team along with the Black Archives History & Research Foundation of South FL, Inc. will host the 7th Annual Black History Month Heritage & Neighborhood Tour on February 29 and visit some of the key cultural locations that make Miami so special and significant to Black History. Led by Historian and Executive Director of the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater, Timothy A. Barber, this 5-hour complimentary tour via motor coach will showcase a Black Miami Heritage Cultural Experience. |

As part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, EVEN Hotel at the Miami Airport will be hosting a group of influential journalists tied to the launch of a new brand-wide, in-room fitness offering in collaboration with fitness influencer Megan Roup. EVEN will host this group and offer a special workout with Megan the group will also enjoy events as part of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. | GMCVB Convention Sales Team will participate in Connect Diversity 2020. This two-and-a-half-day appointment- based show, slated for February 19-21 in Kissimmee, FL USA expects to draw approximately 100 meeting planners who represent multicultural and LGBTQ accounts. The Team will have the opportunity to sell and promote Greater Miami during multiple networking events and two days of pre-set appointments. |
