| The GMCVB Announces a series of Hurricane Relief Efforts on behalf of Greater Miami's Travel and Tourism Industry |

| After the devastating effects of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announces a series of initiatives to benefit Hurricane Dorian relief efforts. The GMCVB will leverage both the Annual Meeting on October 17 as well as the Miami Spice program during the month of September and donate a portion of proceeds to United Way's Operation Helping Hands benefitting the Bahamas. In partnership with the United Way, a dedicated site, MiamiTourism4Bahamas, will be made available to visitors looking to contribute to the initiative. To learn more, visit here. |

Record PortMiami Passengers For
July 2019 |
| |
| During July 2019, cruise passengers through PortMiami increased by +9.1 percent compared to the previous year. Growth is due in part to the addition of new ships offering year-round service & the extensive cruise options offered by PortMiami. New ships sailing from PortMiami include Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic, Norwegian Bliss, Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas. |
